Thank you all! For the quarter I (obviously) wanted a 1796 but in this range of condition the price tag is just too much, so a later coin will have to suffice. And I have a Half Dime and half dollar, both are raw and with 'problems', so for now the type set has the slots filled but those would be my next upgrades. Thank you again, cheers!

Showing the reverses brings up another question, whether the small eagle is needed to fulfill the "type". Here only the dime has the small bird, the other two are the later (lower-cost) large eagle. Hoping to convince myself that the draped bust obverse is "all you need" But guess that's a topic for a separate thread.

The toning on that dollar reverse is pleasant. I myself am a fan of a darker patina on an aged coin, to show off the devices better. The lines on the eagle's shield, the stars, and E Pluribus Unum are all contrasted nicely. Congrats on some really nice coins!

Really like the natural look on these coins. You can imagine them in actual commerce from minting through some years of the early 19th century before someone had the sense to put them away and keep 'em safe.
