small 6 no stem variety. $10 can't go wrong with this a straight graded F would retail for about $250

An okay coin for what you paid for it. There is quite a bit of environmental damage around the face. Apart from that, it looks intact and not bad. You paid about what it was worth.

I'm actually with @paralyse on this. There is no price too low for a damaged coin. Just my opinion.

You lost a member from me I won't be back, some of y'all are living in the past on prices, if you call yourself so called experts then do your research on coins, clearly some of y'all don't.

And another thing be generous to people when they have low grade coins a lot of y'all act like buttholes, because you can afford the best and really can care less about anything else.

@Matthew23, I think many people have been generous with you. Some people can't and some people won't, but you have to be able to deal with all kinds of people in a social setting. I tried to be gracious with you but won't be any longer due to the immature way that you decided to conduct yourself here.

Pricing is subjective just as much as grading is. Do not confuse price with value. Price is what something is being sold for. Value is what something is worth to you.

Myself and another collector could be looking at the exact same coin. I might be willing to pay $25 for it, and the other collector might be willing to pay $50 for it. That doesn't make one of us "right" or "wrong." Different collectors have different collecting goals and different budgets. Some collectors will buy quite literally anything in any condition. Others are more picky to varying degrees, ranging from "I'll buy anything except coins that are X" to "I only buy perfect coins and even the slightest defect will keep me away" and everything in between.

I try not to collect damaged coins (holed, bent, gouged, corroded, etc.) There are collectors who do collect coins with those issues. There's nothing at all wrong with that and we're not here to be judgmental. The coin OP posted has issues that devalue it in my opinion. I would not pay much for the coin if I were going to buy it. Others may disagree and find the issues less of a concern and be willing to pay more for it. That's how the market works.

With that being said, don't ask for opinions if you're not open to hearing opinions that disagree with your own. This is not an echo chamber. If you value honest opinions, this forum is a great place for you. If all you want is for other posters to add a chorus of "me too" to justify your opinion, then this may not be the best option.

The point of CCF Grading is for us all to share our opinions and learn more about grading coins. It's not about trying to one-up other posters or demean their purchases and posts, and I'm pretty sure no one that posts here regularly calls themselves a professional coin grader. Constructive criticism - and not personal attacks - is the foundation of learning. But it's easy to take offense when others don't share your opinion and misinterpret their honest criticism as personal attacks.

I'd buy and flip that coin all day long for $10.
