EF40 but it's details if the scratches/graffiti in the left obverse field are on the coin and not the holder.

didnt see those Ploppy. good eye. they are toned over so whatever happened was quite a while ago. they appear to be on the coin and could point to an old cleaning. not sure how a TPG would interprit them. I don't think they would details the coin but one needs to look closely at them in hand to see how prominent they are

Not that it matters, but this is the large letter variety.

I did not notice those scratches, either. The only reason they're visible is the angle at which the coin is being illuminated, but even so they are very faint. Are they really from actual cleaning, or just an "oops"?

I don't want to take it out of the coin flip just yet.
I'm not too sure what I should do. While I wouldn't say it's been completely cleaned, it has been "prepared" for market. Should I keep this or send it back?

New pics are useless.

The side lighting on these new pics while blurry I think makes it look much worse than it is. My main concern would be the left obverse field as mentioned previously. If the fields and devices are as free of scratches as you would like them to be, then I'd open it. Otherwise send it back, imo.

We can't always hold your hand.

At some point you need to educate yourself, otherwise it's silly.

You have the coin in hand & that's 1000% better than any photos you show us.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.
