Beautiful coin indeed.
Suggest you edit the title to reflect the correct MS65 grade.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

Thank you @jbuck. Quote: you know that with that amazing set you had put together! I still have a simply stunning booming luster example in PCGS MS64/CAC that I purchased many years ago. Amazing how much positive price appreciation I've had on this coin in the ensuing years. 1934-S Peace dollar PCGS MS64/CAC (Obverse)

The title is correct. The coin shown and discussed is a 1934-S in MS-65... Quote: this PCGS MS65 example is a stunner with a price tag Quote: If we're talking MS-65...take a look at the 1925-S in MS-65 That would be a different topic. This is an automated PCGS press release. We do not write them. Just enjoy the eye candy.

Quote: The title is correct. The original title WAS correct...the pic of the MS-65 was incorrect. 1934-S in "MS-64" is the rarest in it's grade. I still love you brother! smat

Yeah, you are right. It is too confusing. I tweaked it again, since there are two "1934-S Peace dollars In Mint State" in the topic. Fair?

As a huge PD fan and collector, I have to say I'm not real impressed with the ms65 in the picture. Sure the color is beautiful but look at that reverse strike. Zero detail in those wings. I've spent a decade searching out solid 34-s PDs in AU condition (I can't afford MS). Strong strikes just don't come around often. I think in decades people will look back and realize there's truly a VERY VERY limited number of well struck 34-s coins. Maybe one of the TPGs will eventually add a designation for full wing Peace dollar strikes like they do with fsb on dines or fbl on franklins. That would demonstrate how scarce the well struck ones are. I also collect well struck 1921 PDs, they are harder to find bit I'd consider them common when compared to well struck 34-s coins!! Looking on ebay now, even those 8-10k ms PDs have awful strikes.
