I agree with some of the others, obverse toning is suspicious but the details look amazingly sharp.

It is normal for home made photos to fail to show toning as it is. If a reputable dealer vouches for the coins you are good to sell. No need for you to box a coin in plastic. Do as the auction house you choose says is best.

Hi all,
Just a quick update on the Gothic Crown. I sent some photos over to Baldwin's who have just got back to me saying that on first glance it looks genuine and that when Neil is back in the office next week he will compare the photos against the forgery reports that he has.
Will keep you all updated!
