Wow. I think that lot was deffinately worth $87.00... It is always fun to hunt for treasures, which makes grab bags fun, plus they often go for a lower price than ID coins. As yhou said sometimes they pay off, sometimes you wish they would have. It's all in good fun

Well worth the $87.00 you paid. I'm going to have to go to more estate auctions around here.

I went to a giant yard sale last year - 250 or more houses, but no one was selling coins :(

Treashunt, I would be interested in selling the damaged (holed) coins. How do you go about finding people who have interest in them, any ideas? Thx, Jim

Sorry guys but I took most of them up to my favorite dealer last weekend and traded them on somethings I needed. I never even thought about posting here. Have never done that before but I will next time. Jim

Great score!! The 1909 S VDB Lincoln Cent alone gave you around a 1000% return on your money! That's the part of coin collecting that is awesome! I'm now officially in the auction/yard sale business!

moe145, sorry about the way I typed that. I was trying to make the 1909 lincolns plural. Get it 1909s. Never even thought about it looking like 1909S VDB. My fault, not meant to mislead. They are a 1909 and a 1909 VDB. You made me go back and double check, though.

Jim: I would just make it known that you have the coins available for sale.
That is how I seel mine.
Word gets around.
Also, it would help if there was a PM feature on this forum. Frank
