The probability of a coin making it all the way to your hands - getting struck, travelling through the coin distribution system to a bank, getting rolled, then you receiving it, taking it home and unrolling it - and it still being MS68 is, essentially, zero, because a coin in MS68 is easily damaged so it's not MS68 any more - that's why they're so rare. Even coins still sitting protected in mint sets don't usually grade this high. The only way to even have a reasonable probability of finding an MS68 (or higher) 2021 cent is to buy up hundreds of mint sets, and send every single one of the cents in those sets in to one of the grading companies. That's quite a high expenditure, for zero guarantee of the desired outcome happening. Which, again, is why it's so hard, and why if/when they are eventually found, they become valuable. Let's have a look at the modern cent population report for PCGS: https://www.pcgs.com/pop/detail/cat...=3&p=MS&pn=5Scroll down to 2021. There are 417 red-graded 2021-(P) cents, and 523 of them for 2021-D. That's a total of 940. None of them are MS69, and only 12 of them are MS68. There is, of course, some diminishing returns in effect, especially for very new coins. The more of them get submitted, then more of the highest grades will turn up, and the lower the perceived value. So if more people end up doing this, then everybody's coins will decrease in value.

If you haven't figured this out by the time you're 12 then pick a different hobby.

These have a very high mintage. They're not rare at all. Very common. The chances of you finding one in MS-68 condition is pretty much zero.

Not a very nice comment, Coinfrog. Completely uncalled for and unnecessary.

Find the best 3 out of all the rolls and post them one at a time. Look for the least water-stained examples and clear fields.

Scamfrog quick to post on the basic bandwagon direction of the thread said Quote: No harm in a quick look, but don't hold your breath. Then when SAP actually posted facts he / she / it / they / them quiclky changed directions and got another post count fluff point and said Quote: If you haven't figured this out by the time you're 12 then pick a different hobby. Seems Scamfog needs to find a hobby they actually know something about and troll some other forum instead of piggybacking on other educated members posts for the sake of post count fluffing numbers. Uneducated post for the sake of post count fluffing numbers are detrimental to the hobby as new members who may not know any better may misinterpret fake news posts by said post count fluffers as "truth" due to the fake / alleged legitimate post count numbers under their ID name.

Wow...thank you all who had my back on that. I WAS having an absolutely horrible week however long ago that was posted and honestly it's not getting any better.... I thought I had been a bit harsh but many of you thought the same way so thank you so very much! I did stop for a while but decided I'm not going to let ONE rude person ruin it for me. Last person who ruined my life was my husband of 17 years who I left 7 months ago. I'm only 36 btw.... FINALLY living my life and ain't nobody bringing me down anymore!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!! LOL
