Can you post full images of the obverse and reverse? We believe your coin to be a Wide AM. If it is, it's worth quite a bit of money. https://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html
Errers and Varietys.

to verify a WAM cent, we need 2 important images.
1. a close up of TAT of 'states'
2. a close up of the FG initials

And I'd say a third: A picture of the obverse to make sure it is really a '99.

In the picture it sure is - BUT, is it a 1999? You know what happens when you "assume".........

If we have an obverse and reverse, as I said, nothing else is necessary, there would be no assuming. The pics do need to be "clear" though....

@makecents: Alrighty now, when you said "no other are needed" that threw me off, I thought you had meant "no others" like "None at all" are needed. Funny how people mean one thing and somebody interprets it in an entirely different meaning.

So, I will also just pull a particular part of what I said aside, just as you did, all you have to do is read, I do not see any interpretation needed here, it was straight forward.

We ALL need to do a better job reading through posts, in there completeness to better understand what everyone is saying, including ME. This is an issue that needs to be worked on by everyone. If you cannot make it through an entire thread before you respond, then maybe you should not.

****MAJOR CORRECTION: this is a 1991-P NOT a 1999-P

I had tried to edit it really quick per the moderators request & mistyped it in my rush to get back to work yesterday & did not notice the error till this morning! I am so sorry if my mistake wasted anyone's time, it was not my intent! It's probably too late, but maybe I get ahold of one of the moderators to change the title for me. I am very oh so very sorry for this because I feel like it caused a stir & excitement & I don't want to be kicked out of the portal (I really like this site)!I promise it was not on purpose!

I really hope this didn't mess up my membership! I have added the photos as requested, but I know it's not a 1999-p so they are probably useless & I am very sorry, again!

It happens - no big deal. That's why best to post pictures of both sides.

I think you are safe.

As for what you originally asked about, it looks like plating issues, just a spender, not an error.
