Whelp - looking like a stolen-in-transit scenario - 5 days past delivery date - now 'Awaiting Delivery'. Doesn't that just figure. Been reading a bunch of local reports about USPS thefts as of late. Scouring Craigslist and ebay for coin - stopping by local coin stores this morning.  Edited by DOCC

In hand as of today. Apparently took a trip to the east coast without any scans whatsoever. Never thought a USPS search request would work but after 3 days they located it.

Whewwww!! Super happy the coin made its way over. Had a situation like that a couple of times before, but far and few between.

Happy to report my first experience with CAC grading. As expected, 1849-O attributed F-104 at the same, VF details. In tandem, I sent in my first raw submission to CAC. A 2023-W DCAM $10 Gold got a PR70 - WOOT WOOT. In my opinion the proof was spotless but I've heard/seen/read so many surprise outcomes with high-grade proofs and CAC that I had no idea on what to expect. Happy with results for sure. .   I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins.
