Congrats on the finding.
Learned something new again.
These clash marks is pretty subtle, I would need to hold it in hand to examine.

Very cool. That is a subtle mint error, and a real rarity.

Dearborn, a counter clash (type 1) results from back-to-back die clashes. The first clash transfers a negative onto the opposing die, and the second clash transfers the features back onto the die, but in the wrong position. The Caesar Rodney counter clash on the Delaware quarter is probably the best known, because it appeared in Strike It Rich with Pocket Change.

Great find! Not an easy one to spot on a circulated example like this.

Thanks Greg. High praise coming from the discoverer of 1 of the 9 CCL's Type ll's known to exist.
My 1969 S is an early die state with sharp features and is in near AU condition.

Thanks Mike, FYI In that 12/19/22 CoinWorld article featuring my discovery (with mentions of your 1984 finds), Mike describes it as the 7th Type II. For instance if you read through CCL(T2)-25c-2008-01AZ, he suggests that example is from a "grease generated counter-brockage".
