Congrats on an awesome lamination. Plus, the toning makes it even cooler.

The coin is held in place with the end of the lamination sandwiched and unmovable between two extra plastic rings. The case has lite stress cracks in the center from the bulge

Well this one is similar in size and mated, but not still attached. PCGS slabbed the main coin, but refused to slab the flake saying it was too fragile. So now it is one slab that says "maited pair coin 1" and a regular plastic sleeve with the flake and a label saying "maited pair coin 2". Not optimal, but still graded under PCGS as a mated pair. And yes, the spelling of "maited" in quotes is correct. They misspelled it on both labels, so it is an error coin in an error slab. http://goccf.com/t/365351&SearchTerms=1958

tropicalbats: that has to be 50% off of your 58D; try the other company? Or maybe try again, as they have custom-made a holder for mine. Yours is a Godzilla error...

I like what they did with the OPs coin. But back when I submitted mine I figured since they can slab paper, surely they would put it in a protective sleeve and just mount the sleeve. But it's too expensive to send things in again and again so I have just left it as is.

OGG, congrats on that peeling and retained lamination. Super nice specimen.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
