Someone did this with a soldering iron and a hammer. No doubt about it. That's not blakesly-ing. That's flattening. You can't even see it on the reverse.

Cujohn, you'd be surprised how far inland some straight clips can go. In general the edge of a ragged clip is a bit unstable, and prone to doing funky stuff.
