This is a closeup photo of the word "quarter" This is not a glue or gum. Do you need a microscope to see solid double letters and double metals under the word quarter? Heavy.  |

Now that you enlarged it so much, I'm seeing a yellow tint to what is apparently glue...........................

a soak in acetone should remove that glue so you can see what is beneath it..

Glue. Not everything you see on coins are an error. Study how a coin is made, and you will find 99% of the coins you post are damage.

@CUJohn. Where did it say that I can only post 1, 2, 3 %, etc.; not 99% of damaged coins? I must have missed those "coin community" rules. Please post the link that says that. Thank you.
