The information I have given you is with the current pics we have to work with, with better pics there could be a different analysis.

Here are some pics I took of a previous find I had of a 63P proof dime that is a doubled die on the obverse and reverse. If I did not have the listing to go by, I would have thought it was nothing more than Machine Doubling. But I still think at this point that yours is Machine Doubling.

Well now, it is a variety! Got it back today, this was my very first PCGS submission, I'm happy with the grade and variety recognition. The obverse had some issues, I thought it would grade lower than 65.

Congratulations on the attribution and grade. Well done.
Were they able to answer your question about the doubling not seeming to match IN GOD WE TRUST.

"Were they able to answer your question about the doubling not seeming to match IN GOD WE TRUST." I think they answered the question with the Variety that they attributed. I compared the coin to DDO FS-101 instead of FS-102. I got close but should have dug a little deeper, lesson learned! I'm thankful that the PCGS grader most likely went out of his/her way to assign the correct designation.

Kicking myself for selling this for $18, should have kept it.

May I ask why you chose an auction format for this particular coin? I can see that your auction had 10 bids and ended at $18.50 + shipping, suggesting that the opening price was very low. That seems like a tough way to reach an acceptable price for an obscure variety.

If I knew about it, I'd have thrown in $19. Someone got a deal.
