In the grading room this date is held to a higher standard than others. A Morgan of almost any date other than early 1880s S mint and you've got a shot at 66. My guess is MS65 here. I hope they didn't go down to 64 because this is a gem quality piece. It is beautiful.

About as nice a Morgan as I've ever seen. I'll say MS-67.

Very nice, 66 was my first thought.

I thought this was a solid 66 when I submitted it. The luster is outstanding, and there are virtually no significant marks on the cheek and in most of the fields. I would have been disappointed with a 65, but I was pleasantly surprised instead. @fenton was bold enough to call it!

Beautiful coin and congratulations on the results! I thought it had a good chance at 66. Never would have guessed 67! Woo Hoo! Glad I was wrong.
