Quote: I once noodled $400 of $2 coins and it only took 15 minutes. As Tim said $400 of 5c would last for 3-4 hours, much more entertainment for the same cost. If you said that to a non coin collector they would think you were mad Are mules still turning up in circulation? After 12 years and the high noodling incentive due to value, I'm sure there couldn't be many left.

cm tim , all found in the caboolture area , also another 3 I have sold , one in brisbane and 6 in caboolture area ,but I must add we would go into the rsl or the sports club and feed $ 20 notes into the machines and bring them home in $500.00 lots (3 containers full )go through them and next time we went to town and bring home another lot .. we dont do it much more now as we have not found any in the last 6 months and to many new coins being used by the clubs now .. kel ..

o yes they are around alright but the only way to get one for sure is to buy one ,not the cheapest way to get one but the surest way to get one , you can look for years and not find one . and they are getting scarcer and costing more as the years roll on .. if you see one and want it bad enough and it is the right price for you , grab it ...

The prices are a bit inconsistent sometimes, like all listings good pictures are essential & I think some better coins have under achieved. This is one coin that was a very good buy IMO,i bet the buyer will be very happy when they receive it with very little damage, unfortunately for the seller the photo's just don't do the coin justice,if I had of had the $$$ when this coin was finishing I would have jumped on it without a doubt,i was hoping to have a win on OzLotto so I could bid but that did'nt happen sadly. Good on the buyer who did win it though, they got a great buy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...p=true&rt=nc

Just as an aside, this morning I reported 3 Aussie sellers to ebay for using the word 'mule' in their listing title to trap unwary buyers, eg. "mule like', 'not mule' . ebay call it Keyword Spamming, and it's not allowed, so hopefully the 3 sellers that are currently using this dodgy practice will have their listings pulled. There's one seller in the US that could benefit by a kick in the butt from a mule. He's selling a faked mule: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MULE-COIN-o...em4ab6cabc05He's not one of the 3 I reported, but any US reader can report him if they wish. Heheheh! None of his coins have an obverse, they're all observes. What a

Quote: There's one seller in the US that could benefit by a kick in the butt from a mule. He's selling a faked mule I guess that is a bit of a grey area because they are genuine coins but the seller is not claiming that it is a genuine mule. I don't know whether that would fall under the ebay guidelines any more than jewellery created from coins would be. At least the seller has clearly stated that it is not a mint error. Quote: appleangel07 , the one that went for $ 877.00 sold by elizabeth was much better coin , a lot better then that one you have linked to scanned coins tend to exaggerate every little scratch on the coin so this is a high grade coin. I've seen slabbed mules of lower grade advertised for more than double that price.
