That's a great find in circulation, congrats! =)
Quite possibly the W circulation quarters are just currently underappreciated. Maybe future collectors will be more enthusiastic about them?

Congrats! I feel lucky to have found 3 W's in circulation, as the Mint intended.

I just found another one today while searching rolls of quarters (2020 U.S. Virgin Islands). It's the 21st one I've found since beginning roll searching 3 months ago. I've probably gone through 35-40 boxes in all.

nice find on your first 'W' quarter.
all 2020 'W' quarters will have that "V75" privy on them.
so far I found 10 of them.

Quote: ...can someone tell me why the W coins seem to be under priced, based on their mintage? I'm not sure what you mean by "under priced" as I feel they are vastly "Overpriced". They really are not rare (millions of each), and I would never pay more than $8 each for a BU quality W quarter. I still need three of the ten but I'm waiting for them to drop to complete my set. I've been told that the majority of "W" quarters were smuggled and never saw circulation, but sold to a handful of dealers, hence the current high costs.

My total rests at 2. Last W I found was a War in the Pacific quarter, I've yet to find any of the 2020 Ws but I still keep my eyes peeled.

Our small town bank was getting in new rolls during the W quarter period. Was able to get at least one W and up to eleven Ws from a couple issues.
