One quick question... Do you have to pay for the coins you bid on?
Sorry for sounding cheap, but I'm short on cash.

Hate to be a party pooper, but I don't think Moe can outbid himself. He is unable to bid until someone else matches with xshift and outbids him. I think

Sure he can.. he can bid all day, if he matches someone - (like me). He matched me on lot 2 because I bid on lot 1. It's all good Edited for spelling issues!

Me too.. because after re-reading MINT_MARQ's post and then going back over the contest rules... I don't think this kind of scenario was covered in the rules. If you already have a winning bid, but want to match someone for a higher bid, that should be fine because it gives the forum more $$. However, this particular thing wasn't covered as a given rule/scenario! So.. we'll all be waiting for our referee to make the final determination

I have survived my road trip and I'm back in front of the PC. Hmmmm. We seem to have a bit of a controversy. Moe seems to have won lot 2, but was it at the $30 level with IHP08S or was it at the $31 level with xshift.....? Hmmmm.
Let's review: Moe was in the lead at $30 with IHP08S but when xshift bid $31 Moe bailed on IHP08S and joined xshift at the higher level.... Hmmm. Was that legal? The original rules do not seem to have considered this possibility. Hmmm. That's odd because the original rules rambled on so long you would have naturally thought that EVERY possibility under the sun would have been covered. I sure don't see anything that says he CAN'T do that however.... Hmmm.
Well...I think this is sort of like one of those times when two teams are tied for the last playoff spot in the NFL and they have to go to the sixth set of tie-breakers to decide who gets in and who doesn't...so let me go to the sixth tiebreaker and see what it says... A-Ha! Here it is: "The ultimate goal of the contest is to make as much money for the Forum as possible and if one of the members wants to bid himself up - LET HIM!"
Well - that's it! Moe145 and xshift are declared the winners! Thank you IHP08S and all the others who helped get the final tally up to $62.00. If the winners would PM me with their addresses I'll get the coins in the mail and give you my contact information. I have already PayPal'ed $62.00 to the Forum as shown below: Donation Details
