Tough to make a call from these photos but I'd say at least 62 might push 63/64 because even with these poor photos I'm not seeing any large dings or bag marks. At 78 bucks I'd say a good coin to add to any collection.

I'm fine with the grade, Greasy Fingers, and I'm fine with the price. The 1881-S I posted earlier was $78 and I also bought an 1890 for $79. The condition of all three is the same. They're all from the same dealer.

No, it wasn't clear. Members have posted coins they bought and used the seller's ebay photos before so that's what I thought your post was.

Regardless of that, the Morgan in the NGC photo is in noticeably worse condition than any of the three I have.

as everyone stated the photos are really hard to see the surfaces. I'm going to assume that the coin is MS as NGC would not have placed that description on the slab. the cropped photos are better but I think the lighting your are using is washing out the surfaces. try to just use natural light, no overhead lighting or flash. it may help.

the 84(O) strikes can be soft in a lot of cases. I dont think its a 62. . I'm not seeing the issues that would be presented for a 62 grade at all. without better photos i'll go with MS63 or maybe 64. if you fix the lighting and repost i'll take a second look at her.

It looks mint state based on the NGC photos, and a very flat strike. But the surfaces aren't clear enough to assess grade otherwise. But I would agree that an adjectival grade of BU from NGC usually means MS-61 or 62, and possibly 63.

I always natural lighting because I get too much glare if I use overhead lighting. My window faces east so I get more light before noon than later in the day.

I'm seeing a 63 based on Keith's enlarged photos. I'm assuming all the photos are of the same coin.
