I like the idea but I think the price ultimately hinders these. I will most likely never see one and definitely will not ever have the money to purchase one. In my mind thats a coin that doesn't exist. There are other coins that meet those criteria but they weren't minted specifically for that purpose so I find these a little different. It could have been a lot more fun.

I just got an email from Bullion Exchanges, they are offering $22,000 for the 1 oz gold bell, mint price is $19,600. BE is also offering more for the 1/2 oz gold and 1/2 silver ones but not as much. My luck if I tried to buy it to flip something would happen and BE would withdraw the offer LOL. Edited by livingwater

Wasn't planning on buying but just checked the Mint site 5 minutes after release. There was a 1 hour waiting room time.

Yeah just a funny price. If you bought 2 he would go 108K on them. The price is already settling down pretty quick.
