How was attendance? I couldn't make it this year. I see a couple of folks I know in the photos.

Nice pickups on the Vicky dimes.

Was there Thursday, Friday kind of slow, had lots of time to talk to many friends and some dealers really huge room for such amount of dealer. The 19$ parking is dissappointing but the host club was very friendly

This would have turned me off.

Wow parking was at a premium I guess but seems very high for a Convention ?

The 5 cent vickies, I have most of, but I do not have a 5 cent 1858 large date yet. I could not pay the price the vendor wanted and gave it back. I will wait for the right price and quality.

Yes agreed, there were a lot of bank notes and pre-conferation tokens, but it was too expensive for me.

I agree attendance was poor for a show of that size.

Edit: I was disappointed Gatewest Coin was not there. They were at the RCNA show in 2013.

Unfortunately there are not too many of us left. I personally know 3 collectors and/or dealers who passed away in the last 5 years. All grey hair fellows.

Edit: Also coin collectors who have left the hobby. I took a long pause from the hobby. I have not given it up yet. I find the hobby relaxing and fun. Coins do not yell back at you, and my blood pressure is lower when I am in the coin collecting hobby, taking new photos, looking for more, and updating my inventory.
