I think you might have to spell out specifically what coins are in the set.

What you've got in mind will likely call for a custom made display. Maybe find someone who does crafting in acrylic.

Sounds like a wonderful set. Yes, an inventory of the set would help track down a proper holder. We cannot be the first people in 150 years to seek one.

Brandmeister what a stunning set of coins. That is exactly the kind of thing I am looking for, if only I could find one

Jbuck I looked at cases similar to this one but they were all out of stock. A case like this one is probably the closest thing I'm going to find, it does look very nice though and I think it would work very well.

Capitol Plastics will do a custom design, but it is a $350 minimum order.

I don't know much about 19th century coin collecting, but I find this situation puzzling. Are only type set display cases available for late 19th century American coins? That doesn't make much sense—surely many people assemble date sets for various years. No?

Brandmeister that is not a bad idea. Unfortunately, I don't have the requisite equipment to make a modification like that.
Thank you all for the help and brainstorming on this. I will defintely follow up with pics of the final product.
