So, This is a WDDR-001? And if it is, Should I send it out to be graded? I want to be positive before I do.

It looks to me that the angle of the book is different, if you sight along the edge of the book toward the intersection of the crossbar of the "T" and down to the pants.

Its it. I would send it to be graded. Make sure you send it to ANACS becuase PCGS and NGC dont recognize these as DDRs.That PF67 above is bid up to $2550 right now and might go higher although I dont think its worth it. To each his own I guess
This is 2009-S 1c Pr FY WDDR-001
Nice coin

Here is the best part; I bought 5 2009S proof sets from the mint and as I was looking at the Lincolns I found 2 of these Proof WDDR-001's. . I want to thank all who helped with this. chris12018

What puts such a high premium on this coin? Is it do to the 1st proof found with DDR?

No. The 1st FY Proof DDR. I dont think that coin should be that high of a price. I think alot fos hill bidding happened actually. The starting bid was $2500 and then someone fell for it if you ask me. There was 3 bids and 2 were the same person. PF67 isn't even a good grade for a new proof. Get yours graded and try your luck on ebay, maybe youll get lucky too

Good Morning kloccwork, First I want to Thank You for your help. I went to the Wexler site to narrow this down and kept coming up with WDDR-007, Well, If I scroll to the bottom of the page I found the PF WDDR-001 . I will send both of these out to ANACS as you suggested. When they come back I will keep the best for my modest collection and possible sell the other to enhance, fill & upgrade my own collection. Chris
