Yes, the second one is bland, but still better (in my opinion) than the other non-shield candidates.

The Capitol designs would be OK if the people inside the Capitol were working for the people of the United States.
I think the new bundle of Wheat stalks would be most attractive and doesn't the wheat symbolize prosperity?
We could use a good dose of that rather than more Washington nonsense.
The Eagle flying with the olive branch symbolizes peace which would be a nice change as well.

I personally like the LP 17. Just my opinion but that's the one I like the most.
I really wouldn't care for another Capitol design, but who knows what it will be.
Guess we'll find out before long.

I also like LP-17 the best. Something different. I'm tired of seeing all the buildings also as wheezydog said. Just a building with a bunch of crooks in it.

I like the first one best but I doubt it will
Not Politically Correct enough showing weapons, which is a shame
it is a cool design.
