you can do it using the "print screen" function on most keyboards. Click to enlarge the image on ebay and then use print screen. From there you can paste the image into any editing software (paint, photoshop, etc) and crop it. That's what I use. |

On a Mac, hit the Apple (command) + shift + 4 keys simultaneously; you'll activate a drawing tool with which you can crop your area to be copied. Apple + shift + 3 gives you the equivalent of a PC's "Print Screen" key, or the entire screen. Both send a .png image directly to the desktop.
And for the record, this dime looks cast and whizzed to me.

He seems to be selling a few legitimate coins as well. I wonder if he misses the bad ones or just "mixes" them in...

How can people be allowed to maintain 100% feedback like this?
With the pics posted can someone tell me why the fields look so crappy on the reverse, shouldnt they have more metal flow lines to them?
I am a noob when it comes to altered or fake coins so... Any comment would benifit me...

Normally you can right-click on an image and select Save Image As, but some sites block this. In Firefox you can right-click on the current page and select View Page info. Then select the "Media" button at the top, which lists all images on the page and gives you the ability to save them. |

The surfaces exibit "Orange Peel".A condition that is caused by over polishing.I polish mold steel,and it takes alot of care not to get this affect....

looks like somebody got ripped off, but it's their own fault. I wholly agree with the comments about spending this kind of money on a coin that you have not seen in person and that has not been authenticated with a slab. It'll be interesting to see what the feedback end up being here..I am sure if the buyer sends it out to be slabbed they will have a rude awakenig, could end up being worht less than 10% of what was the high bid.

Oh if its a genuine AU coin I highly doubt 10% since its a key date, but it could easily be worth 1/3 or 1/4 of the bid price.

Either way it looks like someone is out a healthy four figures... and that's if its authentic, which some people had doubts about as well.
