...were the 2009 Sacagewa's NIFC too?

Well the 2010 are technically "intended for circulation" but the Federal Reserve has no plans to order any. I believe some 2009's were ordered by The Fed and are in circulation.

I ordered a box of the 2010's because my family reunions are in Hiawatha, Kansas and with the Hiawatha Belt reverse......some of these are heading into circulation!

.....
bherring....
"Hiawatha, KS."..?.... That's like 45 minutes north of me here in Topeka.....

I've been more and more interested in putting together a Set of these, including Proofs, from 2000 to present.
The problem with "direct ship" is that you don't know which mint you're going to get......how does one secure "both" mints if you can't do it through the Direct Ship method ?

The few "older" Sac's that I find "in the wild" are in really bad shape !.......I definately want all BU's to go with Proofs....so I guess I'll have to hit a coin shop and start checking prices.

I've bought the "two roll Set" of these the last three years......but that premium is a killer !......but it's the only way I've known to get both mints. I may have to consider "alternatives" to this method with financial restraints applied on my end, from here on out.
And because of the "premium" I had to pay......now, of course, I DON'T WANT TO OPEN THESE EXPENSIVE TWO ROLL SET U.S. MINT PAPER ROLLED SACS FOR MY ALBUM ! .....

"Direct Ship" would score me "one" of the two mints.......hummmm.....what to do......

I received my ordeer this past weekend. I received ten rolls from the Denver Mint.
If anybody has Philly rolls that they would like to exchange for Denver, please PM me.
I have three rolls left at this time for an exchange.

The 2009 and 2010 NAS dollars are intended for circulation since they are available through the Direct Ship program for face value.

Simple, Buy your box, and when they arrive, come here and announce "I got X mint coins! Anyone who got Y mint coins want to swap a roll?" Just like Bill069 did two posts above this one.

My parents are both from NE Kansas and my Dad is a KU graduate. (Class of 1950!)

Still have a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins and a small farm in that part of the country.

Good to know you're a Kansas boy!

They're here!

Pretty sweet too! The Hiawatha Belt reverse is cool. I opened one roll and it's a 2010-D mint roll!

Those are A.W.E.S.O.M.E. !! ....
It's a shame that we won't see any in circulation for an "intended for circulation" coin though .......

The only way we can get em' is from you guys who "direct shipped" these I bet ! .....won't likely see one any other way !

Wow! Very nice. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Coin appears alot better than the design picture.

Hopefully my normal trading partners will be able to sort me out with a P and D mint marked ones.

i could acually make money buying these.
i have a chase CC which pays me 3% on all my purchases.
if I bought $250 in these chase would pay me $7.5 and then I can just keep a roll and turn the rest into the bank

The mint has alerted CC companies to watch for this issue. Many people abused it.

3% on CC purchases? That's higher than I've ever heard of. What's the catch?

Two recent discussions on the use of direct ship dollars to rake in credit card rewards, and the US Mint's handling of it:

There isn't any difference between the direct ship coins and the coins to be released on 1/22. Can someone tell me why there is such a differenc in price from the mint? Am I misssing something?

Do you think the coins with the golden wrapper will hold more value like the earlier gold wrappers coins

I think the price difference is for the packaging and the ability to specify mintmark.

It's not worth the extra money to me.
