I know dude. It was a WEIRD box. Eventually I'll go sort thru the variations - maybe I'll get my first WAM or CAM.....that would make up for it.

Quote: How did my dump box end up in Florida Even better question... How did MY dump box from California get to John1 first...and then end up in Florida? Just remember one thing...You've only paid a penny for every cent you've found. Best of luck on your next box. Scott

wow, I really don't think I can ever complain about crappy boxes again. I pull 5 wheats from a box and I grumble. well, at least with coin boxes, you can go get your money back right away, no questions asked!

Just the opposite here. Got 100 loose rolls the other week, and 58 are pure copper. Mostly '70's. A box the other day had 6 rolls 98% wheats; '40 thru '58.

Sounds like you got dumps from someone who has a Ryedale sorter. Those early wheats tend to get dropped into the zinc slug bucket. Guess they missed that one.

20 rolls since that box with a 26% copper rate. Like all roll searching, there are ups and downs. I'd rather be skunked on a box of pennies than a box of Halves!
Picking up a box of cents in about an hour!
