A pop rivet in the same location as the original hole might work well too.

1.Solder the entire thing to a sheet of metal.
2.refill the hole with an Arc Welder's torch of about 7,000 degrees and then redrill that hole if you can find the entire thing
3.Drill new hole above Lincoln's head.
4.As already suggested, drill new hole on the bottom
5.Glue the entire thing to the inside of your wallet
6.Epoxy Glue it to the handle of a .357 Magnum and carry that instead.
7.Drill lots of little holes and thread through them and then to the inside of your pocket
8.HAPPY ST.PATRICK'S DAY

Hey, I had one of those about a hundred years ago when I was a kid! Completely forgot about the penny-in-the-horseshoe lucky charms until I saw this. Sorry to hear of it's demise, but it should be able to come back to life with a repair job.
Rest in Peace

I dunno... I don't think it would fit well with the Hogue grips on the Python.

RIP Mr. Cent...

As others have said, it's an easy fix. Keep the .357 thread going.

Since my main goal is to carry the luck, I decided to resurrect the thing.

Numismatic-

I never claimed to be a tool whiz. I got the job done, barely. This should hold for a few more years, unless the cent falls out!

I heard Lincoln screaming from here!

You'll get a whole lot more years out of it now.
