Has anyone got any complete sets of anything BTW? I mean, does it ever end? Is there anything that someone has that they are completely satisfied with and they never think about upgrades or adding some kind of error or something similar? I'm pretty new at this but it seems like it could go on forever. I kinda feel like a drug addict that suddenly realizes they're hooked. What have I gotten myself into? Oh yeah, and all I need is that pesky 1856 and my Flying Eagle cent collection is done, except for the..........ummm.....endless upgrades ya know. (That's the closest I can get to a finished collection of anything)

well a few months ago I would have said yes its possible to be satidfied with a set you have finished but now I have to go the opposite direction and say atleast now in my case. I had almost a full date set of morgans and 40% complete date and mint mark set of morgans all in MS-64 but now I am trying to upgrade everything to MS-66 or above and this is excluding my #1 registry set of B1 reverse Morgans that I am always in search of upgrades so it is going to be a long road for me

I've got a complete set of jeffersons. Condition is another thing. I think most of the older (pre-1960) ones are barely readable dates. But I'm not complaining, since I got most of them from searching bank rolls. The silver and key ones I bought cheaply.

I'm three coins away from a complete Morgan dollar date book, all MS+ coins. I probably would have finished it by now but I went back and found a few I was not perfectly happy about. Also I have started a collection of MS64 Slabbed Morgans and that has put a bind on those last 3 Morgans for the date book. I will be totally happy with that date set when it finished.

TLS- Any idea on how much that set of morgans has cost ya? I mean at all MS, you're talking a lot of money there. I really wish I had that kind of collection of morgans.

Yes, I have an Idea, but I try not to think about it. I'm not to worried about the money spent because I believe they will always be worth what I spent and probably more as time goes by,but the satisfaction of collecting them and the enjoyment of the search for each coin is worth more than the monetary value to me.Finding and buying 2 of the last 3 will probably cost me half as much as I spent on all the rest, maybe more. I have the first set of Lincolns thatI put together, those will stay just as they are, and I'm completely satisfied with them.
But it seems that there is always something else to catch my eye, so I guess in reality there is no end !!
