Knowing nothing about IHC I should not even try but you have to learn sometime. I agree that there appears to be slight wear on the curl over the ear and on the top two feathers. If this can be caused by strike, this is a MS coin. If not, and with the marks on the obverse I am going AU-55.

I'll go with MS-60. The obverse is slightly weak specifically in the diamonds but they seem to over-grade abit.

I'll say the slight amount of wear and very minor dings leave this beautiful IHC at AU 55.

I'm on the fence between AU58 and MS64-65. Hard to see rub on pics.

Gust of wind just knocked me on AU58BN side of fence.

It's a nice coin! 1885 is surprisingly tough in high grades.

Nice coin, it just goes to show you a pictutre is worth a thousand words, but a coin in hand is still the best.

The story goes that I got this coin in a penny roll back nearly 30 years ago. I open the roll to put it into the cash register, and out pop this IH along with few steel cents. The rest is history.
