Ditto here, Deb. I didn't notice it until you pointed it out and it's been almost two weeks since your original post (OK, I'm a litle slow catching up with the Main Coin Forum). But, it certainly reflects the sentiment of the group. We are indeed a family complete with occasional disagreements, but we always kiss and make up (electronically, of course). At the end of a long day or if I'm just in the mood, I come here for non-stressful relaxing conversation, companionship (hey, out here in the Arizona forest, only the wildlife and occasional Hereford walking steak come visit), frequent humor, and, of course, to exchange coin knowledge and information.
I like the change.
Fred

I'm glad that I brought the change up too Morgan Fred! It seems to have highlighted the idea that we all are feeling - family! Enjoy your walking steaks and the cool, fresh mountain air! Thought that you were coming back to the Valley? Change your mind? Smart man! Later MF!

Actually, Deb, I hadn't originally planned to return to the desert until late September, but that changed last week to early Sep when I learned some snowbirds will be returning to the park early. I need to have the water system in working condition before then, much as I'd like to stay in the mountains longer, albeit it's starting to get chilly up here at night - 46F the past two nights. Sixty degrees difference between up here at night and the desert during the day.

Snow Fluffies are returning already? It's only August! Come to think of it I have started to see a few more "Foreign" license plates and RV's. Why the early return?
Oh, those wonderful, cool, crisp nights! Memories! Beats the heck out of 100 degrees at midnight! So far we've only had a couple of those! Thank Heavens!

I suspect the early return has a lot to do with gas prices and the market speculation due to the Mideast wars which is/are driving up the cost of crude. The returnees are anticipating even higher prices and for many of us fulltime RVers, fuel prices have become THE limiting factor in our travel plans, not to mention daily living - none of our pensions have more than tripled in three years to match the gas increases. Just three years ago, I was griping because gas had gone up to $1.69/gal from $1.02 in just a couple months; now, I'm happy when I can get it at $2.87 in Flagstaff (where one station is at $3.17; down the road in Williams, it's a bargain at $3.37). I had planned to return to Labrador (4500 miles one way) in summer 2007; now, I'll be lucky to return to northern Arizona.

That makes sense Fred! I remember Mom and Dad pumping what? 60 gallons or so in one fill-up into their Motorhome and that's when fuel was 1/3 or less than it is now. Oh yippee - early return of the Snow Fluffies! Oops, you're a Snow Fluffy of sorts!!!!!! ;-0000

Glad to hear you are coming back early Fred. We still got to get together out here and in late sept is when my business starts to pick up so I hope we can schedule some time.

You mean so we can organize the Arizona Chapter of WINS (World Internet Numismatic Society for those not [yet] in the loop). We can have a constitution, election of officers (all 4 or 5 of us AZ WINS), collect dues, form a volunteer fire department, get a PTA going, and hold demonstrations protesting the West Nile Virus and figure out what fish to introduce into the Arizona Central Project . We'll do lunch in September. Steve, look for an email from me as the date gets closer. Fred
