I'd love to have a small fleet of 1950s and 1960s VW beetles.....Yes, beetles...

But if we are sticking to coins/currency I'd collect patterns coins and unique notes. I LOVE the idea of having one of the only few known to exist.

I would pursue one of EVERY U.S. coin ever struck. I would also like a real 427 Cobra, and a yacht (the kind that requires a crew!)

I would collect quality watches (Audermars, Vacherons and Petek's) I started already... I have a collection of one and unlikely to grow.

I would try to make a gold date collection if money was no object but since it is I will stick to filling in some blanks I have for circulating currency...

I'd try to get a type set with every type represented by all possible mintmarks (which would of course include such serious rarities as the 1838-O Half Dime, the 1891-O quarter, or even the 1855-D gold dollar, but generally I still won't be going for keys because they're that much harder to find). Oh, and as much as possible in AU-58 (though if something is easier to find in MS-63 or higher I'd go for that).
Probably would also get something else, but still have no idea what

I think that I would like to put together a set/collection of the best grade of US coins prior to 1800. I have always wanted to have some decent US coins from the late 1700's, but cost always gets in the way.
Rest in Peace

As for general buying goes, everything under the sun.

As for coins / notes go: 1895 Morgan Proof, any Large Chain Cent, 1892 $5 Educational Silver Certificate and many many many many others...

all in the highest grade.

Honestly I think it would take a lot of the fun out of it if money were no object.. although the bragging rights might make up for it. And I would probably collect exotic women. I would store them on my own private island. Establish my own island country, marry the women, then I could create my own currency and you all could collect it. Circle of life. errrr dreams.. :(

MS Walking Liberty halves, American silver eagles proof/uncirculated/bullion everything, probably old gold coins (don't know anything about them yet since they are currently way out of my budget) and whatever I saw that caught my eye.

i would built a castle up on a hill and build a treasure room complete with lava and dragons or at least my motherinlaw. then fill it full of gold and silver and spend my days glaring at my precious.
