ebay earnings will be posted 20 april then we will know how badly they need all the money they can get
As long as the law agrees they are an innocent provider they have no incentive whatsoever to do anything

Yes, their greed is pathetic and the fee's will keep going up and up cuz people don't care enough to stop or reduce their listings to the point where ebay will notice. I was actually gonna post a whole new thread about their fee's as I had some rolls of pennies I was gonna list but now I am having second thoughts as I reviewed their new fee increase.

Too right,if you find another fraudulent numismatic auction anywhere on the Internet,no matter what auction website it is,you can report it here; (link removed at the request of the COINAF membership). The sooner that numismatic fraud is stopped, the better! What do you think?

Aidan.

This site is still under construction and should be considered a work in progress. We do not have a scheduled launch date yet.

I do not know whether they will notice but in the gold category on the different european ebays there is junk (like goldleave and nuggets ) on one hand and very expensive overpriced coins on the other side : but the nice affordable good surprise coins seem to have virtually disappeared

If you see an auction by Pamela a.k.a. pjd 1966,please give it the widest berth possible,& put your money into something worthwhile.Go & buy some nice 1/10 Krugerrands from South Africa,as these are very nice bullion pieces that are of some interest to British Commonwealth coin collectors.

She is doing it for revenge and to make the users agree to withdraw.

If I were the buyer, I'd take my chances with the negative feedback. I would figure that the other sellers would know what she's about and disregard any negs she is throwing around.

If the other sellers give any credibility to her negs, you'd think in short order there wouldn't be many buyers available without her negs.

Or doesn't it work like that ?

Hmmm well I sure wouldn't. Perhaps I say that because I have maintained 100% flawless feedback for almost six years. If I had a negative already I probably would though. There are other ways like calling her a liar on the phone.

100% positive feedback rating is much more important as a seller than a buyer. This is especially true if you snipe. I wouldn't accept an offer of mutual withdrawal unless the seller had truly corrected the problem.

Hmmm that is a wonderful point indeed. I've sold on there about 4 or 5 times over the years so that is a reason to maintain. I've got a couple other things I could sell but with the fee's I'm gonna try and avoid it as much as possible. Think I'll give this forum a try with some rolls of OBW pennies.

Maybe I'm off base, but my guess is that now that she is reinstated she will open a new account to sell from (you aren't allowed to if you are NARU'd). That way she can start over with a new seller's id and avoid all the negative publicity on the net that is associated with pjd 1966 and stay in ebay's good graces (for a little while).

I hope I'm wrong, but when it comes to someone trying to scam people, they usually can find new ways to stay ahead of those who are pursuing them, unfortunately.
Rest in Peace

Welcome to the forum, The_Cave_Troll! I hope you enjoy it here.

If Pamela elects to use a new ebay ID, I think she'd be quickly spotted by the hundreds who cruise coin sales watching for her unless, of course, she decides to stay away from coins and tokens to avoid us. Nevertheless, her auctions are fairly distinctive and she would be quickly spotted under a different ID: poor pictures, "estate" sales, semi-literate grammar and spelling, and, in short order, a pile of negative feedbacks. Yeah, she'll be spotted. Tigers can't change their stripes and spiders will be spiders.
Rest in Peace

Wecome Bacchus,
Unfortunately not everyone does due dilligence to see who is leaving the neg, also, even though she is well known in "our" world, ebay is a big place. Folks with small FB numbers are particularly at risk.

Today when I was checked her FB I saw a wonderful sight- No longer a registered user
Perhaps the many emails ebay received when she reappeared had an impact.
