Helvetica is not just a font, it is the Latin name for Switzerland. Its use as the official name is a neutral choice since they have four official languages (German, French, Italian, and Romansh) that give four different names to their country (Schweiz, Suisse, Svizzera, and Svizra).

Nickels are definitely loaded with all sorts of oddities more so than any other denomination. I've found coins from over 10 countries while nickel searching and never found any from any other rolls. Nickels have to be one of the funnest to search through besides halves!

"wolf"...what were you searching FOR, when searching an entire box of 2010D, or did it just happen that you were searching a box of nickels tat turned out to be entirely 2010D? by-the-way, the 2010D is one of the coins still missing in my search to complete a set of jefferson's, through roll searching!

I like finding the foreign coins mostly when they look very similar to our own. There are a few coins from CA or SA that resemel Barber coinage that I find very interesting

I see the occasional Canadian nickel in rolls, and I have had a pair of Panamanian 25 centavos turn up in change. They are the same size and composition as the Washington quarter.

that's pretty cool, very new to coin roll hunting( 2 box penny, 10 rolls nickle) but thinking of working more on nickles, don't really know why, used to hate them for some reason, all of a sudden I want to buy them now, maybe because they are cheap

I've gotten coins from 7 countries from Lincoln Cent roll searching, (strangest being a 2 groschen coin from Austria minted in 1935). I think if you could live long enough, and go through enough rolls - you could probably get coins from 100 countries from roll searching!

From roll searching I have come across numerous foreign coins I finally got around to putting them all in flips and organizing them in a binder each flip I wrote the country of the coin on and organized them in alphabetical order and in value order it was pretty fun to look some of the asian coins up and middle east coins too learned a lot and got some use from my world coins 1901-2000 book
