How many people is Gallery going to suck in? or is this just someone with a new ID?

great stuff going on about the topic. i'd bet martha is shadowdozen. it's great that he had to change his ID...i guess. also he is in cahoots with the webmaster of the gallery grading website, as I previously noted.
oine thing regarding feedback- notice how many mutually withdrawn feedbacks these people have- I have never seen so many before. complainers probably prefer to widthdraw nagatives than get retaliatory negatives. factor in the widthdraws and there is no doubt these folks are evil.
IF ANYONG CAN CATCH THEM DOING SHILL BIDDING they will probably get kicked off- I seen it happen fast.

I took a close look at her feedback. Most of them are from the same people. Pages upon pages of the same names in her feedback

matha is Not shadowzen. He has stopped doing business with gallery grading company and has closed his ebay account. It's just that it takes, I think it is,, 180 days before they remove it. He is following his attorney's advice on handling everything and before it is over , hopefully gallery grading co will disappear. I heard steve ward, the owner, has been trying to find former friends, classmates to pull in to sell his coins again. This might be relative or one of his own alias'. He will probably be forced sooner or later to change gallery grading co. name to be able to snooker people in

Gallery Grading Company is on main street.. almost the only street .. in New Madrid. I think Martha is Steve Ward aka Gallery Grading Co. or Gallery Coins. If you notice "Martha" has been buying coins in bulk. This is probably his ebay account for buying coins he is going to grade and resell. Oh and by the way if you read JoJax (Todd Bond) "about me" story. He has quite a tale there. I was told that he had worked at Sonic with Steve Ward (GGC) years ago, and that is how they met. They may have gone to school together. I will have to try to find out. The "crashing into the building" story sounds far fetched to me anyway.

I know we have been talking about Gallery Coins and what a sham they are. But what can we do? How can we keep others from being ripped off or sucked in? and how can we get gallery grading out of business permanantly?
I'm not what you call a serious coin collector. I just but certain coins for the year (as in my birth year, Parents, daughter's) and buy some grab bags (I just bought 5) just to see what I can get. But I know People Like Gallery Grading devalue my small investment

I dont know that there is any way to get GGC out of business except for getting the word out there. I keep thinking their reputation will sink themselves, but it certainly is taking a long time. I think alot of ebayers are buying their cheaper coins just to get feedback and build their own ratings. Then there are those who are genuinely coin collectors and not knowledgable enough to realize they are being scammed.

I also noticed a bunch of Gallery Graded coins appearing on the German ebay site.... looks like either someone bought a job lot or they are expanding into the European market, the only good thing is that grading is not as important as it is in the US so they wont be able to rip people off on the same scale

I am not 100% sure that we are right about this. I dropped in there today, and I must say that I figured I would see one thing, and in fact it was not what I expected. Unfortunately I have a dentist appointment in 20 minute's. So I will have to get back on this.

I feel 100% sure that the coin grading they have done is a scam or in the very least , careless and the slabs they are making are terrible. And from all the negatives I would think that ebay would know that. BUT I guess they make enough money off of them not to care. I am certain of one thing. They buy rolls of coins, grade them themselves too high, sell them themselves and charge high shipping. I believe buyers end up with something not even worth a fraction of what was promised.

I too am going to crack the seal and send this coin out to be graded again by PCGS. Soon we will see what is what. I personally belive it will come back with the same or at least one grade below.
Laserwolf- Pcgs had graded 9 55-d lincs in 67 RD in total , NGC total 61. Last one heritage sold went for $4887. It should be not only absolutely flawless to the naked eye, any inperfections should be barely visible with a microscope, to earn a legitimate grade. Literally. yet 5 55-d MS 67 RDs have been offered or sold on ebay in the past week "slabbed" by ggc. That should point out why these grades are impossible. A business selling thousands of coins wouldn't let a true MS67 RD go for $1.74. They wouldn't even sell a true MS 64 for that price. Interestingly (to me anyway...) 4 of the 5 were offered by "christian brothers limited" in TX. Descriptions started with "These coins come from an estate which I recently acquired." Always a red flag! and they just happen to have a 67RD for sale now... Thanks for posting. I hope you got your coin for a good price and like it. Folks here are always willing to give input prior to purchases, if you want advice. Don
