After reading the link Tim provided all the way through .. I am thinking I have enough Panda's
I still think the ones I purchased are ok .. but I am no expert. I did take both out and weigh them .. they were right. The die markers seem correct.
But .. reading that link and knowing China's reputation .. I think two Panda's are enough.
The two I have, might have to go into the maybe slab one day.

Great, now I have to look at mine! I thought they were counterfeiting only expensive coins. Thanks for the site info.

While no doubt widespread forgeries exist of the Pandas, the ones I have seen up close are fairly easy to ID when compared directly to the real thing.
GoldRush58 - It looks good to me, at $62 for the pair, you have a great buy. I picked a couple dozen up for bullion some time ago - wish I had held on to them!

Bought 4 a few weeks back for $31 each. Higher priced than most other bullion but cool looking coins.

If you read and study the site you will see that the fake Pandas are really easy to spot. Your two are the real deal and I think you should go get the rest. I would.

Jdubbs - Thanks for the information I think I will go down the first of the week and see about picking out some more of them or all .. I am sure if I bought more .. I can get them for $30. each. The coin shop that has them is not one I go to very often .. and they need the business. Can I ask where you get those prices from .. ebay .. online stores? just curious

A 1994 just sold on the bay for $383.99
I say that if you are comfortable with them it would be a good deal to grab them all up. I would at that price. Expect to see them at $35 when you go back with the price of silver up another $0.74 today.
