'68 non-silver Philadelphia and RCM
I think there are two different dates for '80 wide and narrow but I don't know if it's the entire date that's wide or just the 0

Pulled what I think is a 1996 Proof. Take a pic after I finish sorting the rolls. 12 more rolls to go.

Thank you DBM. I see there are 2 different 67 silvers, 2 different 68 silvers (1 has 180 degree rotated reverse and only 1 known to exist) and there are 2 different 68 non silvers. I will look for nice examples to hold on to from them.

I also just found my 4th silver...1964 with 8 rolls to sort yet.

1980 narrow and bold dates too - good luck (though it sounds like you don't need any after those silvers!)

Pulled 2 more silvers. 1948 and a 1963. That's 7 so far and still have 5 rolls to go. Happy Dance.

Pulled a 1950 with 1 more roll to go. Also pulled 2 1991 five pence and a 1987 Republica Dominicana Diez (10) Centavos Durate. Let it be a magic roll. LOL!

Ok...box is sorted by decade. Managed 8 Silvers: 1948, 50, 53SF, 53NSF, 63, 64, 65 & 1967. Also found a 1996 Proof dime (at least I think it is. Have a look.)

Now to check for errors and varieties.

starting in 1996 proofs were silver with UHC. In '96 & '97 both BU sets and specimen sets had coins with reverse cameo effect like the one you found.

Your 1948 ten cents, is a 'key' date.

Nice haul...

Thank you for pointing that out Shafta9a. I did not look it up yet. My 2010 Charltons has it at 15.00 in VF-20. I wish I had a clue about grading. I'll have to post a pic of it on Sat.

69 Large Date (I will have to look up info on how to identify

Very easy. Look at a 1968, and compare it with a 1969. The LD 1969 has digits that are the size
of the 1968 and less curved than the small date...you will not mistake it if you find one. It's basically just a roll searchers dream, but it's not out of the realm of possibility for one to turn up. Unlike some rare varieties which were...shall we say...questionable in origin, the 1969 LD is the real deal.

Congrats on the silver finds, the 1948 in particular is quite a find. The economy is tight, the season is tight, people are rolling up old change stashes for extra $. These are good days for us roll searchers.

Thank you for all the info. Learning more every day. I searched 2 boxes of nickels of Tuesday with only 2 x 1959 to show for it. Oh yeah...a decent 2000P as well. So I picked up a a box of dimes and a box of nickels today. I have fifteen rolls of dimes to do yet and the nickels. Only 1 silver (1962) so far from the dimes. I'll keep at it.
