First I want to say to the forum. The one problem allot of people have on this forum is the size limit. it seems allot of people do not know how to re-size their photos, that is why allot of people use photobucket to host the files and just tag them with the [img] [/img] tags. One thing I hope you come to know about this site is we do not allow the kind of personal attacks that goes on at other forums so we try to treat everyone like family and with respect. It is also a family friendly forum where we do not allow any colorful language so its somewhere that you wouldn't mind you mother, wife, or daughter looking over your shoulder while you are on the site. We have allot of knowledgeable VAMmers on here and we will do whatever we can to help you attribute what you have

Thank you for the warm welcome. I will be respectful and kind as a family should.

Bryan- I am wondering about part of your reply: "I hope you come to know about this site is we do not allow the kind of personal attacks that goes on at other forums", and I was just wondering, What other forum(s) are you referring too? Everything at the CU forum seems cool and calm most of the time. is there a Bad site to stay away from?

I had a reply all ready, full of my real opinion of CU, but then I realized this is Coin Community and such language is not allowed. .

Well good thing I mostly lurk at CU. I don't see much bad talking at CU but I bet stuff like that happens "behind the scene" in private messages. I just like clean wholesome collect with the least amount of stress.

Collectors Universe.... I personally like it.... some threads are highly interesting, but most are not unless you are a dealer.... That is the real big time dealer site, the researchers, the high end collectors, the newbies, they are all there... a nice mix of folks... It is interesting, sickening, and great fun all at the same time... (you wouldn't like it Mike).....

Thanks zeewool, for answering the question. sorry about bringing up CU, I did not intended this thread to be bad mouthing anyone, but thank you for bringing up the aspect of CU being a dealer's site; I am not a dealer, just a sole collector and someone at CU directed me here because this was mostly a collectors forum and not mainly for dealers. I was told people here could help me with my questions. I look forward to lots of education and learn here :)

There's a button across from your user name on the post you want to edit.. looks like a piece of paper with a pencil. Click there and it will take you to the Edit Post page. I think you have 24 hours to edit.

sorry it took so long to answer the question. There are some forums that try to belittle members that ask questions that have been asked before or one that they feel is below them to answer. Some people will not really give an answer and just say "use the search button" and thats it, here we try to give some information and may say that if you do a search you may find other information but usually that member will have already did some searching and even post a link that may help the person asking. I have also seen personally where allot of members will join in on personal attacks trying to make the OP (original poster) feel stupid or bad in some type of way, which is not allowed here. We just try and maintain a family friendly attitude on the forum here for everyone to enjoy. There is no particular Forum that is worse than the other but its just those types of Dog Piles that we do not allow on here and will close down a thread and have even sent members on a vacation (not a paid vacation either) for doing so
