One of this sites issue is sometimes when just typing a single letter it will automatically
change the letter to a word like "U" will be changed to "you" and "R" is changed to "are"

so when XavierOfGreen posted
" pictures in order to tell but if the are in E Pluribus unum is looped on the reverse"

This site change the "R" he typed to the word "are in the sentence

He is saying some (maybe all) Henning nickels have the loop at the lower right "leg" of the "R" in pluRibus

Christina, so far I have seen prices @ $20 to $30 each. Not to shabby for a 5 cent coin. WOLF

It's the left leg of the "R." Not all Henning nickels had it, but chances are if someone glanced at them and called them Hennings, that's what they saw. Think of it more as a "hole" than a "loop."

We're both getting older. I had to Google it.

ok, so I googled about these a bit more and it said counterfeited nickels in the years 1946, 47 and 55 wouldn't have a P on the top back, none of these do. BUT BUT BUT I have 3 others nickels one of from54 and doesn't have a P, and another from 52 that also doesn't have a P, what does that mean? and the other one I have is from 1943 and has a S on the top back?

The only years that had the P mint mark before 1980 was in 1942 to 1945. the P was put on the reverse to denote it was a silver war time nickel. The other mint marks you will find in these years on the reverse were S and D. The 54 and 52 are common philly minted nickels from those years. But the 43 with the S on the reverse is a silver war time nickel. WOLF

she did look up these 4 nickels I had , and told me there Henning nickels which there is a amazing market for them.

Why did this person suspect them to be Henning nickels?
