A friend at work told me today that she was planning on going to the "roadshow" in Kingston Ont this weekend. I told her about our discussion here and lent her my Charlton coin book so at least she's going armed. This one is called the "Treasure Hunters Road Show" ( boy they sure like to use the term Road Show.) The ad sounded the same.

They were parked in the sandman hotel in Grande Praire Alberta roughly 2 weeks ago from the date of this post. Seeing as how people know I deal coins, everyone was texting me and telling me the show was here, I warned everyone to stay away, telling them they are scammers. Everyone shrugged me off like I was just upset with the competition in the monopolized community. (very small town) I'm glad to see some supporting comments from people who actually know.

They are currently in Trenton, Ontario, at the Holiday Inn. I believe they're there all week. They were there last week as well. Business must have been good.

the collectors roadshow was in Abbotsford BC for a week and left sept.1st. I was sorry I missed it, but now after reading posts on here, I'm glad I did. Is it better to go to a pawnshop or a trading place? I'm new at this and never did this before. Apparently, there is another (show) in mission, BC on sept 17th, but not sure who it is

Thanks everyone, I missed the one in Abbotsford, went in for knee surgery on Sept 2, just getting back on line now. I will be attending the Mission one, it is where I live right now, so will attend and check them out. I will also be letting the police know of them. Thanks again.

When I went to the one in Mission, B.c., I could not find it. There is a Best Western in Mission, but it must have been somewhere else or they cancelled at the last minute. I have not been to the Police but everything seems to have gone quiet. As one put it, they sure like to use the words Road Show.
