I made a couple dozen cookies at Christmas for my tellers. They really liked them.

You are the man. I thought I was doing something with pastry rings from Panara. So......just how many gift "cars" (see #4) have you given away anyhow?

Maybe its like my mother does....she gets gift cards for my kids but they often don't work. I asked her about it and she forgets to have the cashier put any money on the card before she takes it out of the store!

Now a gift "CAR", is a totally differant thing!

That will be actually two gifts, one for her and one for him, that way you've got the whole team with you.

Good catch on that one. However, if we include my Son and his wife, that makes two that I did give away. Or bought for them that is.

See I'm not the only that messes up. Than should be then. I should be I. wheats should be wheat cents. Just kidding. I never was to good at this grammar stuff either.
Now here is something to think of on this subject. If a teller does save or collects coins for you and you give to much of anything for that service, they could start wondering why? Then start collecting for themselves. So goodby your source.

I gave two tellers a foreign coin this week. The common Panama scarry guy and the starfish Bermuda. Cost me 2 cents since I found them roll searching. They loved them.

I need to find me a friendly teller.

I actually posted an ad on Craigslist, "wanted- one friendly bank teller"... it got flagged in mere moments. They probably thought I was a psycho.

I've noticed most replys make it sound like tellers stay in those places where ever you are. This is really far from what happens around me or most large cities. Even in the suburbs by me a teller doesn't last more than a few months and occationally less. In the center of the city at one bank I don't remember ever seeing the same teller twice. And I went there about once a Month. Turnovers are really excessive and probably due to low pay, no chance of advancement, goofy customers, etc. And with so many millions out there looking for a job and when they get one in a bank, they are already looking for a better one.
I have accounts in 5 different banks. Only one of them has had a few tellers there for almost a year now but even there the turnover is to fast to even consider asking for anything special.

I guess I am lucky. My Credit Union branch has had the same four tellers for several years now. I only remember one teller leaving in recent history (she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom after her child was born) and her replacement is still there. But Credit Unions are a different beast, so I am not surprised that banks might have a high turnover.
