With the strength of the reverse I'd say VF-35. I don't know if there's enough detail on the obverse to warrant EF, but if it's a strike issue, then I'd say there's a possibility of EF-40.

I would grade this coin at EF-40. Very nice.

I'll go with VF-30. The reverse is strong but the weak central detail on the portrait holds it back. Surfaces look original and overall eye appeal is excellent. That "visor" mark looks like a planchet lamination.

PCGS gave it a VF35. The reverse could go 40 but strike weakness at the obverse center holds it back I think. Just got her today and she looks very nice! I'll post a couple of my own pics later. Thanks for the grades and comments!

Here's my pics which reflect the true color better. The slab is somewhat scuffed up which shows at the reverse center the most. I went ahead and sent it to PCGS for re-grade mainly because I want a new slab but partly because it has an outside shot at a 40. I'm very happy with the piece.

In my humble opinion anyone who owns a certified draped bust half in VF or better grade gets a well done vote
