Let me clarify...... she didn't exactly bring them home for "me" ! ...
"She" collects the Suzy B's, and thought that the highly circulated Sac's might be worth having for "her" collection or our "daughters".

I just merely snagged this coin and brought it to the office with me to flip onto CCF for some comments about it ! ......

She'll of course be wanting this coin back ! ....

That would be my guess too Numismo ! ...

I posted it because I've never seen one before..... for a "circulation" find especially.

Anybody know the metal contents ?
It's a Bi-metallic correct ?
Worth just face value I assume ?
How rare to find here in NE Kansas ?
Anything else of note ?

Comments in this arena, is what I was hoping to have for some education on my part.

(I did not post it in the Canadian forum just yet....because I thought more folks would like to see it here.....at least "U.S." folks)

Love Canadian coinage and they are way ahead of the U.S. as far as using coins instead of
paper for low denomination. Mostly I love the animals and leaves and nature stuff.
That polar bear rocks. They should cut ties with the Queen though but that is
an entirely different subject altogether.

I haven't seen any Canadian coins for years in circulation. Starting to think they don't use it anymore.
Nice find there.

Ah, the old 'queen with the bear behind'. Admittedly, it's nothing special to me, but it is a nice design. Must have slipped out with some vacationer or something.
