[W] to the forums! :)

And yes, that $20 is a trinary.. Only three different numbers in the serial: 0, 1, 8. There has been much debate in these forums if such a serial is special.. I think it's more special than a normal serial..
Rest in Peace

I hit the bank on Monday and got a single star $20. Nothing special best I can tell, but I'm still keeping it.

Yesterday I worked a side job at a bank. A guy brought one of the orange and white drink coolers in full of change to deposit. They have a machine that automatically counts/bags the change. Anything that is rejected gets put in a little tray. Anyway, the total deposit was $1100 in change!! Could you imagine digging through all that! Well anyway, he looks at the discard tray and hold up a "funny dime." I asked him if he knew what it was. He said no, just an old dime. I told him that's a Mercury dime and its 90% silver. He gave it to me! Well, I had to buy it from him since I was on duty, but still pretty cool. I gave it to my oldest since shes the coin person. Its really worn, the date is 192X, its worn off.

Got another Star $1 in some change from Whataburger the other night.
This morning my wife goes to buy a newspaper in 75 cents of quarters. Well she says to me these quarters sound funny. In there was a 1958 quarter so I immediately hold it back. When we get home I google it, turns out they have silver in them, but I don't know how much. Can anyone help me out?
They both are going to my oldest's collection. I'm kinda stuck on the $20 star bills.

Addicting isn't it? The quarter you have has .1808 ounces of silver in it. At today's price it's worth 7.83. Not bad huh?
