That really helped me identify the "error" I always hate it when sellers don't use a sharpie on the coin to point out exactly what they are selling. My only concern is that the identifying arrow could be rubbed off, so he should have used an awl to scratch an arrow into the coin so it would last longer.

Yeah I would have spent DAYS looking at the pic trying to find the error on that cent had it not been for that arrow.

Good job seller, you fail.

The fact that someone spent all that time cleaning and polishing it up like that really does justify the starting bid price. I just wish I had $300 to toss into the wind like, I would surly get it.

I give him credit for cleaning the coin BEFORE using the sharpie.

What's the big deal? I do this all the time. I did this on the back of the CAM right before I sent it to PCGS and it's slabbed that way now. I wanted to make sure they (PCGS) knew what I was talking about. WOLF

I like how people basically admit they have no clue what they're selling, in the same sentence where they tell you it's unique.

Hey! I would bet a 90% silver dollar that this is the same dirt-bag who tried to scam me back in February, just using a different name. I'll bet this guy ALSO goes by ebay user ID tinos210 (note the similarity in names teddytinos2011 and tinos210). Tinos210 is also from Toms River NJ and pretends to speak in some sort of phony-baloney Spanish accent just like this guy. I have a thread buried somewhere here on the Forum about how he filed the date off a coin I sold him and then tried to scam me into giving him a better coin in return. My blood pressure STILL goes up when I think about it...
