Maybe the coolest Cud I've seen (not sayin much). Looks like Lincoln is working on a thought bubble or something.

Holy Cud Batman .... that is a MONSTER. Can't give you an estimate of value ... but a keeper for sure and worth some $$ to a Cud collector. Great score indeed. David
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

I have a similar looking one on a 1970d nickel that someone offered me $70 for once, though I refused to sell and still own it.

I should have kept this one cause I may never be this lucky again but error coins are not really my thing, but it sure is fun looking for them and finding one has really got me going. Now everyday after work I will pick up rolls of coins here and there all over town and look. I guess I have searched about $100 this week.

ARGH! I was bumping up the bid on the coin when... THE POWER COMPANY DID A ROLLING BLACKOUT FOR HALF AN HOUR! I really wanted this coin! It's 105 degrees here and I guess the power demand was too high so they killed this half of town. It's only the 2nd time they've done this in the last few years and they had to do it NOW! I found some more information on the coin and found it refereed to as an Atheist Cud Cent, because the Cud blocks the word GOD. I bid right before the power went out, I was the high bidder and by the time it came back on, it was gone. Oh well, at the very least I was able to get you a better price on the coin. *sigh*

Indeed ... sold on E-Pray for $29 ... now we now the absolute value of this coin. For a 1 cent roll find cost ... I make this out to be a profit margin of 2900% (less fees, etc). Too bad we can't find these everyday. David

I hate to hear your power went out like that. My power went out for awhile but it came back on right before the bidding ended. Thanks for making a bid. It sold for $29 and yeah that is good for a penny I found in a roll. I'm going to miss it but it will be on its way to Texas in the morning. I may never find another but I sure plan to try. Thanks

If you look at "Bid History" you'll see I had 4 bids. I started at 10.26, then 19.99, 26.00 and 28.00. My last bid would have been 35.00 with about 4 seconds left, but it's hard to bid with no connection to the internet because the power is off.

Im really sorry to hear that. If I find another or any error I will be sure to let you know first. Errors are cool but I really want some good Buffalo for my collection.

I sold the 1990 Cud error on ebay last night, It sold for $29. I think it may have went higher. I had a guy email me and he said he was bidding on it when he power went out. Said he was willing to go $35 on it, but was to late.
