Oh yes! Very interesting, looking forward to your posting at the auction section w/PIN. As an OFEC collector I stll don't hve any from Afghanistan, so if there's one that measures near 38mm, that would be very interesting

That sound fair - the prices posted on the holders were from what we could figure out the price paid as of the date the coins were originally purchased in 1982.
So since I am not at all familiar how to go about posting these - and how the whole thing works I would really appreciate it.
I hate to just plunk them out there with the first person that speaks up winning? Or is it the first to pay or how does it work? I have quite a few of the silver salvaged coins that I could post but don't want to hurt any one's feelings. So if I knew better how to go about to be fair to those not in my time zone ...........

@Swamperbob : May be you could just list them on CCF auctions with the reserve price as the price you bought them at. Should give enough time for people on all timezones to compete for it.
P.S: I miss the gud ol Sell section too !

Indian Princely States are also one of my favorite themes. I have somehow abandoned a bit while concentrating on the French coins. I would also be interested into some of these coins.

I tried to list some last night on the Forum as suggested but I am so darned illiterate when it comes to using on line things that I can not figure out how to get the pictures from this post to the auction.
It took me a long time just to figure out how to post pictures.
How do you do it? And please no computer jargon - I went to college in the days of slide rules not calculators.

You could try right-clicking the picture, choosing the option to copy the image URL and posting it in the auction you are trying to create. Or you could right-click the picture, save the picture to your local machine and then add pictures to your auction just like you did in this post.

Maybe make a post here if there is anything from spain :p I never go to those selling sections, as most of the coins are from the US or too new (and I don't collect those ... yet)

I thought I would just post a notice here in world coins when I decided to sell a coin. That was people on the World side would know. If I knew how to do links I could do that too. Makes sense for people who post coins to let the target audience know. I never go to the sale section simply because I am not aware of anyone posting something I wanted.
I tried again to find a link but the auction asks for a Http whatever that is and I don;t think I have one. The photos are on my PC and on the Forum site where attachments go.

If you use windows, you can right-click on the picture in the forum and choose the option "Copy Image URL". This will vary from browser to browser and from operating system so it may be slightly different.

I got one of these long time ago, they're special coins that you can't find easily.
