Not at all, but wondering if you moved this whole conversation to the grading forum (third down on the list, maybe get better response, you could send note to staff, ask them to move your posts. thinking the 65 silver dollar is pretty common, but depends on grade and quality of each coin. I don't think you lost, but maybe not worth more than you paid, but that's just a guess, sorry.

Theres a few of these on ebay right now between $129 - $200 at least at a minimum youve got around $100 os silver at todays $41 an oz

These sets are plentiful and were assembled by dealers
With today's high silver prices unless the coins are nice MS64 or better they are bullion value items
If you disregard the rarer varieties you can have a nice set of Elizabeth dollars for bullion prices and if you believe silver still has room to go up your collection will surely increase in value
