Last week I got a 1952 wheat in my change. Pretty rare given that I am in Canada, but we do see a fair bit of US change in both rolls and standard store change.

Congrats! My darling wife found several wheats in change this last spring. My kids and wife always look at their change for me.

Is a 1914 something special? Found it during my 20.00 roll search today.
Amazing to see a coin that has seen 97 years of service!

The last wheat I got in change was a decent (fine) 1917-s, about a year ago. Most of my wheatie finds now have been from roll searching.

I LOVE HOW EVERYBODY HAS A UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT STORY. ITS WHAT KEEPS ME LOOKING WHEN I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER FIND ANYTHING COOL OR INTERESTING.

Congrats! Wheats are definitely more common than silver coins. I work as a cashier and find a couple wheat pennies a day yet I haven't found a silver coin in the past 2 months! In fact, I have never found a silver quarter. Still hopeful...

Wheats are one of the minor treasures still out there! In my area, they are available at the rate of about 1 in 250 coins. That's one in five rolls of coins...

You'll soon have a bunch of them!

Better than in my area, LastGold. Used to be 1 in 300, then 1 in 350. Now it's 1 in 400 :(

Not a wheatie but still neat:

I never get interesting change (perhaps the drawback of living in "newly settled" areas), however, last month my dad was in the hospital in Chicago (he's better now) and they had a Starbucks on the first floor which both me and my mom used to get our caffeine fixes. Well, that Starbucks was apparently ground zero for terrific change. Over the course of three days we walked away with a wheat, an indian head, and 2 silver Roosies.

Opened a roll today at work an a 1953-D was inside! I work at a place that frequently goes through coins and have found many wheats lately!
