VERY nice coin! I submitted one close to this, most people guessed AU from my pictures, it came back MS-62 from NGC. Something about these, there's often flatness on the cheek, jaw and above the ear that is mistaken for wear. I think I see a slight trace of wear, but this could would be worth submitting to see if you can get an MS grade.

AU-58 (if you can see some luster) Does it cartwheel?

Here's a better photo of the obverse. As to the cartwheel luster, the reflection moves back and forth when turned under a light but I wouldn't say it cartwheels.

The second picture shows the coin better. I think you had too much light on the first pics. I would definately submit this to PCGS. I think you could possibly get an MS62-64BN grade. Well worth the grading fee.

Can you re-take the reverse picture with that lighting?

The new pics do shed new light. The top of the ear and area above it show the only chance of wear.
I agree at least high AU and may easily go MS. Am I allowed to change my mind?

WOW.. the second pic really shows a lot different coin, I'm going to have to change my mind too.

I'm going to have to say, MS-60RB, just goes to show how the angle of the coin and light will play tricks on you.

I agree with upstate, high AU to MS. I first thought based on the first set of pics, that it probably lower to mid AU. On the second set of pics, what I thought was some wear does not really look like wear anymore.

OK, send the puppy to PCGS! I'm seeing a $300+ coin. Here's one I submitted that everyone guess EF to AU.

By comparison, BadThad's has a bit more detail in the head area. I can probably hope for AU58 though.
